My name is Chiara Young. Being homeschooled from kindergarten through high school instilled in me a lifelong love of learning and shaped my desire to help students discover the joy of learning for themselves. I strive to make education meaningful by helping students understand not only what they are learning, but why it matters and how they can apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.

I am currently pursuing a second bachelor's degree in English & Writing and a teaching credential to further develop my knowledge and skills as an educator. I have taught children and adolescents through private piano instruction, childcare, and camp leadership, while also instructing adolescents and adults in Audio Visual Technology. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and help students build understanding, critical thinking skills, and effective learning strategies.
