Kevin Young

My career as an accountant began in 1982 when God redirected my career path via an industrial accident. I have been in the accounting profession since 1986 (Reagan/Bush). I graduated April 15, 1990 with my BBA, emphasis in Financial Accounting. I became an Enrolled Agent in 1992 and began building my practice.  Finally went SOHO in 1999 and never looked back (I did ask God to make it clear this was the right path or make it a quick death so I wouldn’t ruin my household financially). I have been married to my gorgeous wife (a breathtaking blonde) for going on 43 years. I have two incredible daughters—my oldest is a stay at home housewife/mom/entrepreneur. My youngest is finishing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Liberty University. I am throttling down my practice at this stage to be with my wife and granddaughter more but continue to provide select clients with business controller services and tax preparation as I head into my 27th as a SOHO. What a ride!!
